Your Harry Shearer Guest Show

Listening to this show I caught Phil and Harry talking about how you were both on KRLA, at one time. I remember that! My recollection is this: The Firesign Theatre did those wonderful radio ads for Jack Poet VW. At one time, those ads sponsored a portion of The Credibility Gap. Jack was my ”boyfriend” at the time. I was the “keeper of Jack’s gold” (If you know what I mean) and would get home, roll one, get comfy, turn on The Credibility Gap. When the show broke for sponsor, The Firesign Theatre-Jack Poet VW ads would come on. I still can’t believe the great joy I experienced listening to two groups so beautifully deliciously, satirically gifted with comedy genius! All in one show! I’m still listening with great joy, to you, Phil and to Harry’s show, as well. I follow David Ossman, of course. Grateful for Phil’s Newsletter, Bandcamp, Bear Manor, Firesign books, to immerse myself until I step into the next room. The only thing missing is my love, my Jack. He is a strong, loving, spirit, however. He would love this. Thank you for your dear friendship Phil💖
